Built from inside the profession.
Why we exist.
Law firms are under increasing pressure to demonstrate that their compliance processes are not just in place, but properly followed, evidenced and capable of withstanding scrutiny.
In practice, important decisions are often spread across matter files, emails, checklists and internal notes and third-party systems. When a partner, compliance officer or regulator asks why a risk decision was made, the firm may need to reconstruct the reasoning after the event.
That creates risk.
Gaps in records, weak explanations, missing evidence or unclear audit trails can lead to avoidable internal issues, client complaints, regulatory scrutiny and reputational damage. It also places significant pressure on staff who are already managing demanding caseloads.
Retibo is being built to help firms strengthen the way they manage and evidence compliance work.
Our tools are designed to help firms create clearer audit trails, test whether key reasoning and supporting evidence are complete, identify potential gaps earlier, and give staff a more structured way to review the work that matters.
The aim is simple: help firms move away from fragmented records and retrospective fire-fighting, towards stronger oversight, clearer evidence and more defensible decision-making.
Retibo is a practical layer of support for the firm and its staff, who remain responsible for those decisions.
Two founders.
“Jacob is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales who has practised in small and mid-sized firms. He understands where files fall down, where risk quietly builds and how difficult it can be for firms to evidence the decisions behind them.
He leads Retibo's work with law firms through discovery calls, pilots and long-term relationships. His role is to ensure Retibo answers to how firms actually work, not how software wishes they did.”

“Arvind completed the SQE and is qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales. He designed and built Retibo end to end, starting from what an SRA inspection actually asks a firm to produce and working backwards to the software that produces it.
He leads the product and engineering side: the AI that drafts, the guardrails that keep it honest, and the security that keeps client data where it belongs. His role is to make sure every output Retibo drafts is one a named officer can confidently sign.”
